The Flanders Institute for Biotechnology (VIB) conducts groundbreaking research in life-critical scientific fields. The institute employs around 1,900 researchers, organized into dozens of research groups spread across various research centers integrated within six Flemish universities.

VIB needed a strong, consistent brand identity that could be recognized across all research centers, fields and initiatives. This uniform look also had to be clear and impactful enough so that both internal and external stakeholders - a target audience of thousands with diverse profiles - could resonate with it.

Together with VIB, we created a dynamic and recognizable visual identity that was embraced throughout the organization. The highlight of it all? The extensive annual report, in which we presented the results of in-depth research in a clear, digestible and visually impactful way. 

Through a clear brand guide with custom branding formulas, we ensured a consistent look and feel, giving VIB a distinctive, versatile and unified appeal. 

This tailor-made collaboration resulted in a distinctive branding identity that puts the campsite on the map as a vibrant go-to destination in Antwerp.
