New Media Academy

Truvo - previously known as Promedia, and publisher of the Golden Pages amongst other things - is an organisation rapidly evolving into a contemporary new media company. After all, consumers are more and more using online media to find and compare products and services - an evolution for which the people at Truvo also need to be prepared. One way of doing this, is to stimulate everyone within the organisation to initiate - or perfect - their knowledge of the latest new media trends and skills.

Truvo Academy - working title for the learning platform intended to promote this - has been developed by Kandesign in cooperation with Antwerp University and Truvo HR and Training staff to be a unique learning and testing environment, integrated into the workflow of every Truvo co-worker. The platform uses a so-called "adaptive agent" to dynamically and continuously measure a co-worker's level of knowledge as well as pushing it upwards.

The new media knowledge initially contained within the system is furthermore continually supplemented with contributions by Truvo co-workers. This way, the platform is evolving into a comprehensive, constantly up-to-date knowledge bank for the company.
