Groen!, the Flemish green political party, regularly publishes its GroenKrant (Green Paper) to be distributed to households throughout Flanders. The local chapters of the party can edit a part of this paper themselves: they can provide it with a new name and include locally relevant news. Something which logistically proved to be rather elaborate - versions and corrections would endlessly fly back and forth between various editors and the designers at Groen! headquarters before everything was finally deemed fit to be printed.

However, Groen! has recently switched to kantranet.com, Kandesign's very own online publishing tool. Using this, the local chapters can lay out their own contributions, upload and manage images, and so have an easier job of making the GroenKrant meet their needs. This saves the party a lot of time and effort, but still allows them - through an online approval procedure - to maintain final control over the various local publications.
