Exterior signage

Group S is an independent service organisation offering independents and employers a specialised multi-service for social management in the widest sense. Group S operates from over 30 offices across Belgium, and has recently inaugurated a new head office at the Avenue Fonsny in Brussels. For this office, the Group was still looking for a partner to provide the exterior signage.

KAN Design produced a design based on some light modifications of the existing logo. And took into account that the design had to subtly fit in with the grand building, allowing it to still incorporate the Group S style. Also important was that the design should - after minor modification - be easy to apply to the various other offices.

KAN Design devised both single-faced and double-faced light-boxes, built from aluminium profiles and covered with aluminium panels. KAN Design also devised lettering in zinc to be mounted on the facade. All signage elements were backlit with LED lighting to guarantee Group S also remains visible during the small hours.
