Healthy family

Partezis stands for "Partner in Zorginformatiesystemen" (Partner in Care Information Systems), reflecting its leading role in providing a wide range of often tailormade software for the care-providing sector. The company offers powerful solutions for managing anything from a major hospital to a retirement home or day-care centre, including the administration of patient/guest occupancy, appointments and operational schedules, stock control and human resources.

Having adopted the new name when starting to reposition its services and products, the company commissioned KAN Design to provide a new graphic identity. Next to a basic identity for Partezis itself, the company's main products were also to be provided with a complementary series of trademarks.

An initial design exercise explored visual themes from both the computing and care sectors, as well as various ways of relating the corporate logo to its product brands. From these initial proposals, a choice was made for the stylised initial P symbol. This symbolises the connectivity of the software to manage one continuous process, while the basic shape is reminiscent of the chip featured on identification cards. Because it also resembles the ® registration symbol, the Partezis logo is similarly used as an endorsement and official seal of unique quality behind the name for each product.

The new logo was further complemented by a clean and sober use of typography, a family of soft colours to distinguish the company and its individual products and the gentle wave shapes referring to the underlying tenderness that typifies the care sector. Artwork and guidelines have been collected in an online design manual for applications including:
